The 4 P’s of Content Marketing is a system I was taught in college. It is not hard to implement, and one of the main benefits is that it brings together the best elements of all the different types of online marketing available.

First, you should remember that there are two major kinds of marketing out there. Those that are focused on the purchase, and those that are focused on the conversion. You want to use both approaches, because they are mutually reinforcing and have their place in your overall plan.

Second, try to be more specific than just saying “listen to your customers.” In fact, the best content marketing strategy is to listen to both customer and search. Listen to both and tailor your marketing efforts for each.

Last, you should remember that you do not need to necessarily talk about the product or service in detail. Remember that it is much better to emphasize the benefits to customers by the product and its pro’s than it is to make them sound like just another sales pitch.

Okay, now you know how to pick out some content, and you’ve done some research on what you’re going to say. However, what does this actually mean for your content? What are the four P’s of Content Marketing?

You may be tempted to create a sales page. However, remember that most readers are here to learn. They want to get more information. However, they do not want to be sold to.

And if you use “just another sales pitch” instead of giving them the whole story, they will click away, and never return. Your purpose should be to share your expertise, and educate them aswell. By giving them more information, rather than merely trying to sell them something, you can accomplish this.

After all, the purpose of all advertisements is to sell something. If you are advertising to educate, you are educating your audience, rather than just trying to sell to them.

In other words, the fourth P of Content Marketing is to give people enough information that they have questions or need help. When you give them that, they will want to know more. Because of the positive reinforcement that comes from providing them with new information, they will come back to read more of your work.

This will happen over again, because the people who will come back to read more of your content will be those who are searching for information and therefore already know how to answer your questions. You can get these people to return time again, if you provide them with new information each time. Then, your community grows, your visitors increase, and your business increases.

This is a great way to build your reputation, and it is also very effective for building up a business. It takes a lot of work, but if you do it right, you can do it yourself.
