When people seek content, they are seeking information. They want to get the goods or the knowledge that they’re looking for. What most of us do is we try to sell them something. Sell them a product, a service, or anything else that we feel might interest them.

I remember when I first started blogging I tried to build a website or a different sales page for each and every new post I made. It didn’t work very well. I have learned over the years that people like reading articles, they want to learn more about something, and they don’t want to be sold.

So why would you want to do this? People don’t want to buy a product that they don’t understand, they want to understand how to use it, how to determine if it’s right for them, and they want the honest opinion of a “friend” on what the product can do for them.

As long as you understand the difference between writing different content for different audiences, you should be able to prevent yourself from falling into these mistakes. People want to know who you are and what you do. They want to know your background, your interests, your opinions. They want to find out how trustworthy you are.

There is a good reason that they’re going to Google the name of the “celebrity doctor” or the “new gym down the street”. They want to know. So give them what they want and give them the information they want.

When people choose to get information from you, or when you get content from them, they want your content to speak to them. They want to know it can help them. That’s the one thing they want. You can’t sell them information or a product without this being part of your reputation.

You have to take the time to figure out what content you want to provide. Don’t go with any information based on popularity. You have to work hard to make sure that your information works for you.

As you can see, there are six things that you must focus on to make sure your online business is well-known. If you can do all of these things, you will be on your way to having a solid reputation. With a solid reputation, you can reach a larger audience than you otherwise could.

The key to this is knowing what you’re doing and using it to your advantage and you can easily build a website that draws the right kind of people and keeps them coming back for more. Just remember to always do the right thing.
